Professor Acchiardo is absolutely phenomenal. Her captivating lectures leave me enlightened and motivated to learn! I look forward to this class each week but prepare for the kahoots before class. If you stay on top of your work you'll perform adequately! I highly recommend this class! |

A lot of your grade is based on the tests so just read the textbook and go to SI sessions and you will definitely be prepared. A lot of the test is just reworded questions from those resources. Charity-Joy is also really good at explaining things and breaks stuff down to easy digestible amounts. |

I thought the class was fine. The Kahoots are a little annoying at the beginning, but you get used to them as the semester progresses. Exams aren't too difficult... just read the textbook and go over the inquisitives (homework assignments). Lectures are solid as well. |

An extremely caring professor who always checks in with students to ensure that the whole class is on the same page. Lectures are engaging albeit a bit scattered so stay focused. I would suggest going to the TA with questions during office hours, it helps! She allows handwritten notes during exams so take advantage of that. |

This is an online class. Homework is automatically graded through the online textbook system. You know your score immediately. Exam scores are not released until the proctoring service has completed their audits. You MUST read the slides, book, and homework to pass this class since there are no lectures. It is ALL online. |

Hard class no matter what teacher, but probably the best professor at USD. first test is much easier than the second and third. Attending class is very important, if you dont good luck. Some of the online hw assignments are long and hard but she gives you the opportunity to earn full participation points by doing in class assignments. |

This was an amazing class; it is not boring with the usual powerpoint slides. There are a lot of activities and interesting stories. She really has a passion for Econ and you can tell by the way she teaches. I had never taken an Econ class before, but I ended up loving the class and I switched from my Bio major to business so I can major in Econ. |

Charity Joy was awesome. I took economics in high school which helped, but she made class so fun to go to and the concepts were very easy to understand. Exams were very fair and never too hard, plus she was one of the most attractive teachers I've had which made class that much more cool. Great teacher, greater person. |

Charity-Joy is so great. She makes sure to make the class interesting. The material is straight forward. Tests are just like the homework. There are four tests all semester but you only have to take three. She makes sure you understand everything in class. There are daily notecards that give class participation points |

Charity Joy is a truly amazing professor and I always looked forward to going to her class. She is an engaging lecturer (even after lunch) and she writes down all the important points. She also has the best stories. You may have heard that she is a tough professor, and she is (she was once in the army), but she gives a ridiculous amount of EC. |

She's great. The lectures are a little long but she does a great job of explaining concepts as well as offering study sessions pre-test. NO CUMULATIVE FINAL in this course which is a great relief during finals. She'll keep you interested and you'll definitely learn a thing or two. |

I love this professor and I love this class! She is by far one of the most interesting professors at the UofA! She makes the topics engaging and interesting! The homeworks are kinda tough if you do not fully understand. The exams are just like the homeworks so still hard. You have to go to the review session to get a good grade! Overall great class |

Charity-Joy has been my favorite professor at UA. Shes's very passionate about Econ and makes the class interesting & engaging for students. There's online homework every other week and one writing assignment, neither are too bad. Tests are ok, all short answer so you have to have an understanding of the concepts. Go to class, study, you'll be fine |

Great Econ 150 Class she is nice and funny and teaches in a fun and interesting way. Not a hard class and not a lot of work. and the readings arent bad (about 3-4 pages online). I studied just the night before each test and got a 97 as my lowest test grade. Homework is once every 2 weeks and I got an A on all. There's one essay thats only 500 words |

Great Class for introductory econ. All answers on tests and homework are designed to be answered in one to two sentences. If you do the readings, come to class, and do the homework, you should be able to get an A. |

She gives very thought out presentations and gives all the things you need to know for the tests. The only thing is if you want an easy A this isn't it because you need to actually think. She will drop things casually into a lecture and you have to pay attention because it will be on the homework even if she doesn't write it in the notes. |

The most interesting, enjoyable class I have taking in my entire life. A class where the things you learn will face you in your everyday life. Talking class notes very easy because she write down the important things in the lecture. The class has many fun activities and she even starts her classes and exams with a song. This is a very interesting class, recommend taking! Charity keeps the students engaged, and all the material you'll need to know for exams she goes over and explains with real-world examples and fun activities. It's not an easy A, but an interesting class you'll want to pay attention in, the A follows! Some quizzes with readings, three exams, HW. |

I took this class for an easy gen ed and really enjoyed it! It's very easy but you also learn a lot. It's obvious Dr. Acchiardo really loves teaching and is very helpful. If you get below a C in this class, you either are stupid or never showed up. Easy and interesting course. |

Her class is an absolute joy! I have never had a teacher so engaged- Professor A goes through amazing lengths to make relevant coursework relatable to everyday life. Unlike most of the professors at USD, she does not rant on about politics. Instead, she teaches a difficult subject with humor and an absolute willingness to cement understanding! |

Charity Joy is an awesome professor. I took her econ class and already knew some econ stuff but this class is a breeze. You work in large groups and her tests are pretty easy. There is not a lot of homework too, which is nice. You want to take this class and get her as a teacher because she does everything right and makes it easy for students. |

Took her for basic Econ 101 gen ed, very good professor. Keeps class interesting on what can sometimes be a dull subject. Showing up to class is a good idea most test questions come from concepts covered in class and she awards attendance points. Class wasn't too demanding, only 3 homework assignments. Show up and pay attention and youll get an A |
